【摘要】:1ThisInternationalStandarddescribesapreciseandaccurateanalyticalmethodfordetermining1mgto5mgofplutoniumpermillilitreinnitricacidsolutions.2Themethodisveryselectiveforplutonium.Itissuitableforthedirectdeterminationofplutoniuminmaterialsrangingfrompureproductsolutions,tosolutionsofmixednuclearmaterialswithauranium/plutoniumratioupto20:1.However,potentialapplicationtotheassayofplutoniuminsolutionsofirradiatednuclearfuelsandsolutionsofmixednuclearmaterialswithuranium/plutoniumratiosof20:1to33:1hasnotyetbeendocumented.3Themethodrecommendsthatthealiquotbeweighedandthatthetitrationburettesbecalibratedgravimetricallyinordertoobtainadequateprecisionandaccuracy.Thisdoesnotprecludeusinganyalternativetechniquewhichcanbeshowntogiveanequivalentaccuracy.4Asthereproducibilityofthereactionconditionsisimportanttomaintaingoodperformance,extensiveautomatizationoftheprocedureisbeneficial.
