【摘要】:ThispartofISO7097describesananalyticalmethodforthedeterminationofuraniuminpureproductmaterialsamplessuchasUmetal,UO2,UO3,uranylnitratehexahydrate,uraniumhexafluorideandU3O8fromthenuclearfuelcycle.Thisprocedureissufficientlyaccurateandprecisetobeusedfornuclearmaterialsaccountability.Thismethodcanbeuseddirectlyfortheanalysisofmosturaniumanduraniumoxidenuclearreactorfuels,eitherirradiatedorunirradiated,andofuraniumnitrateproductsolutions.Fissionproductsequivalenttoupto10%burn-upofheavyatomsdonotinterfere,andotherelementswhichcouldcauseinterferencearenotnormallypresentinsufficientquantitytoaffecttheresultsignificantly.Themethodrecommendsthatanaliquotofsampleisweighedandthatamasstitrationisused,inordertoobtainimprovedprecisionandaccuracy.Thisdoesnotprecludetheuseofanyalternativetechniquewhichcouldgiveequivalentperformance.Astheperformanceofsomestepsofthemethodiscritical,theuseofsomeautomaticdevicehassomeadvantages,mainlyinthecaseofroutineanalysis.
